# EUC ARM SLEEVE — Tech pack v0.1 (prototype build)

Compression arm sleeve, armhole to wrist, one per arm. Carries the wing, elbow and forearm docks, an optional forearm mail strip, and the wrist-cuff boost exchanger with its two lines. Snaps into the vest armhole with four Fidlock males; the vest's shoulder cap docks over the junction. Off in five seconds; the vest without sleeves shows four flat receivers and two sealed dry-breaks per armhole.

Codes as the capri and vest packs. Base body as before.

## 3. Dock map

Every arm dock has its stop at the shoulder end: in a forward fall the arms are out front, the body slides toward the head, and friction on every arm pad points toward the shoulder. Pads enter from the wrist and lock toward the shoulder.

| Dock | Pad | Center | Laminate (W × L) | Rails c-c | Rail length | Enters from |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S1 wing | P8 | lateral upper arm, top edge 30 mm below the acromion (under the shoulder cap's lower edge) | 110 × 170 | 56 | 110 | wrist end |
| S2 elbow | P9 | point of the elbow, tongue running down the outer forearm | 120 × 240 | 60 | 170 | wrist end |
| S3 forearm | P10 | outer forearm, from 30 mm below the elbow tongue to 40 mm above the wrist | 100 × 190 | 50 | 130 | wrist end |

Wrist lines: two 4 mm PU lines in the F14 channel along the inside seam from the top-cuff dry-breaks to C6 barbs. C6 sits inside the wrist cuff on the palm side; the Flexmeter goes over it.

## 4. Pattern pieces

Cut 2 (mirror). 6 mm allowance on the single seam, 0 on bound edges.

| Piece | Fabric | Description |
|---|---|---|
| S-P1 Body | F1 | One piece, armhole to wrist, one seam along the inside of the arm. Grain along the arm. Elbow shaping by a 15 mm dart pair at the back of the elbow, sewn and bonded flat. Carries S1, S2, S3 on the lateral line; no seam crosses them. |
| S-P2 Top cuff | F1 doubled, 40 mm | Gripper inside. Four H13 males at 12 / 3 / 6 / 9 matching the vest receivers. Two H14 dry-break males at 6, tails 60 mm into the channel. |
| S-P3 Wrist cuff | F1 doubled, 30 mm | Gripper inside. Inside sleeve for C6 on the palm side, port edge toward the channel. |
| S-P4 Channel | F14 | Bonded along the inside seam from top cuff to wrist cuff. |
| S-D1, S-D2, S-D3 | F4 + F5 + F6 | Laminates per section 3, S3 optional. |
| S-M1 | X3 + F11 | Forearm mail strip, optional. |

## 5. Attachment

Push the sleeve up, align the 12 o'clock male to the vest's 12 receiver, press: four snaps. Dock the shoulder cap on the vest so its lower edge overlaps the sleeve top by 30 mm. The sleeve cannot ride down because it hangs from the vest, and the gripper only has to stop rotation.

Dry-breaks mate when the 6 o'clock snap closes. Vest females seal when the sleeve is off.

---

## 6. Construction order

1. Bond S-D1, S-D2, (S-D3) laminates with rails, stops toward the shoulder end. Bind, gripper. Bind S-M1 to S-D3 if used.
2. Sew the elbow darts. Bond the laminates to S-P1 on the stretch board.
3. Bond the F14 channel along the inside seam line on the inside face. Lay the two lines in, seal the channel.
4. Sew the inside seam, flatlock, bonded across the laminate margins.
5. Top cuff with Fidlock males and dry-breaks; wrist cuff with the C6 sleeve. Connect lines to C6.
6. Dock pads. Snap to the vest. Fit.

---

## 7. Tests

- Snap retention: hang 3 kg from the wrist cuff with the sleeve snapped to the vest on a mannequin; no snap opens.
- Leak: C6 and lines at 0.3 bar for 30 minutes.
- Range: full elbow flex and extension, the elbow pad stays centered on the point within 10 mm.
- Wrist guard: Flexmeter closes over C6 without pressure points after 20 minutes.
